Review: Bigfooters and Scientific Inquiry by Lewis and Bartlett

It's a distinct pleasure to be asked to a review a book like Jamie Lewis and Andrew Bartlett's BIGFOOTERS AND SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY. Not only because it's a profound work of scholarship but also one that will forever alter the conversation around academic research in cryptozoology.

What are Bigfooters - and by extension cryptozoologists writ large - really arguing about when arguing over the existence of creatures like Bigfoot or the legitimacy of the PGF? Nothing short of how we understand reality itself argues Lewis and Bartlett.

Check out my review of sociologists of science and technology Jamie Lewis and Andrew Bartlett's Bigfooters and Scientific Inquiry: On the Borderlands of Legitimate Science (Routledge, 2025).

The one book every believer, skeptic, and those anywhere in between should read!
