Translating Shigeru Kayama's "Half-Human"

As revealed in this YouTube video, I'm currently working with Nicholas Driscoll (MA, Applied Linguistics, ISU) on a proposal for a critical English translation of Shigeru Kayama's cryptofiction novella Half-Human (獣人雪男, Jūjin Yuki Otoko; ‘The Beast-man Snowman”), an old-school horror-adventure story in which Japanese college students face off against a primal, ape-like monster and its fanatical worshippers in the Japanese alps.
