G-FEST XXIX Panel: "From Cryptids to Kaijū"

My hit panel for G-FEST XXIX on the history of cryptozoology in Japan

Based on my paper “From Cryptids to Kaijū: Exploring Heterodox Paleoscience with Godzilla,” published in Interdisciplinary Science Reviews (2024), this panel proved to be one of the biggest draws at G-FEST XXIX. As the photos below testify the room was packed, with people standing against the walls, sitting on the floor, and lined up outside the door trying to peer inside.
