Video: “Western Monsters Japan-Style: The Vampire, Frankenstein, and Werewolf films of Toho Studios"

2020 was a rough year. I was slated to talk at both the annual Pop-Culture Association on "Japanese Vampires for Christ" and on "The Universal Monsters Do Japan" for G-FEST XXVII, both of which were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, I was able to salvage this material when I was invited to present at the virtual convention KAIJŪ CON-LINE, dreamed up by podcaster Kyle Yount (The KaijuCast) as a way to bring kaijū fans together from the within the safety of our own homes. All the presentations were recorded and are available on YouTube.
